Experienced Private Clients Solicitor – Wills Trust & Probate

Job Description

We are very pleased to be assisting our client, a multi accredited law firm in seeking a senior Private Clients Solicitor to join their extremely busy Wills Trust & Probates department. Based in either the Tring or Luton office, this law professional will be in possession of 5+ years PQE working solely in the Private Clients sector and may be seeking his / her next position as potentially a head of department. This client is seeking candidates who can offer both expertise and aspirations to progress in the hierarchy to partner level and as such this is an opening that rarely comes up.

With numerous accreditations and memberships from a range of legal bodies, this firm is a well-established and popular mid-sized practice. It is renowned for its high level of client care and practice management. Situated across three offices covering three counties the firm is fortuitously located for travel between each office via major road transport links.

 

The Role

A rare opening has arisen for a strong fee earner with aspirations to become Head of Department in their specialist Private Client team. To be considered for this role, you must be a Solicitor with a senior level of PQE in private client and possess previous experience supervising staff. The successful Head of Private Client will work well on their own initiative and be well-informed in Wills, Trusts, Estates and Probate matters. Duties will involve overseeing day to day management of the team, alongside your own caseload and may include: will drafting; probate matters; estate administration; ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and; elderly client matters. It is therefore essential for the successful Head of Private Client to have excellent client care skills and senior leadership strengths.

 

The Candidate

To be considered for this role:

  • You must be a qualified Private Client Solicitor with a senior level of PQE.
  • Solid expertise in Wills, Trusts, Estate and Probate work is essential.
  • You will be an ambitious Lawyer demonstrating excellent client care skills.
  • You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership strengths.
  • You will have a proven track record in business development.
