General Manager - Rickling Green, Nr Stansted, Essex

Primavera Pubs Ltd is a small family run Pub Company based in North Essex, founded in 2017 by Paul and Leanne Cutsforth. We are passionate about what we do and our ethos is ‘Fresh – Seasonal – Local’. This is because everything we do is Fresh, whether it’s the daily complimentary Bread at the table, the Homemade Burgers or the Seasonal a la Carte Menu. Local because we are part of the community and blend great food with warm hospitality and an emphasis on being a home from home for our guests.

We are currently recruiting for a talented General Manager to work at The Cricketers Arms, Rickling Green, Nr Stansted, Essex, CB11 3YG. The business has a 50 covers spread between 3 distinct areas. The pub dates back to the early 19th Century and is full of character and is situated overlooking the village Cricket Green. The place oozes with charm and the revenue stream is split between Food, Drink and Accommodation.

You will be responsible for the overall running of the pub and will be supported by a Deputy and an Assistant Manager. You will lead, inspire and motivate our team. Ideally you will be college trained with a minimum of four years’ experience in the industry. You will be capable of running the business, be a natural Host with real desire to please our guests. You must be able to work under pressure and be used to spinning several plates at the same time.
