Dova is a pharmaceutical company focused on acquiring, developing, and commercializing drug candidates for rare diseases where there is a high unmet need, with an initial focus on addressing thrombocytopenia. Dova's lead drug product, DOPTELET, was approved by the US FDA in May 2018 for the treatment of thrombocytopenia in adult patients with chronic liver disease scheduled to undergo a procedure. In June 2019 the FDA approved a second indication for treatment of thrombocytopenia in adult patients with chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) who have had an insufficient response to a previous treatment.
We are currently conducting a Phase 3 trial in chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia (CIT) for DOPTELET. We expect to report results for the primary and select secondary endpoints from this trial in the first half of 2020.
